Daisuke is a programmer brought up in Brazil and US. He has worked for Network Appliance, Livedoor Inc, etc, and after founding his own company he joined LINE Corporation, where he currently works. He is also the Head Director of Japan Perl Association, member of Perl Foundation Grants Committee, and a recipient of the White Camel Awards for community services. His main area of expertise are Perl/Go, MySQL/PostgreSQL and systems utilizing those. He is also known as a speaker, writer and editor. You can usually find him on the net using the "lestrrat" handle
